My passion for interior design drives me to create compelling and unique spaces that provide for the needs and wants of my clients. I thrive on the idea that a space can alter someone’s mood, day, or even change the way they live. Knowing this, my ultimate goal as the designer is to aspire a safe and functional space that creates positive enhancement for the clients’ everyday lives.
As a Southern California native, I grew up with the vow to live “outside the box”. Growing up in a box-like tract home made me fascinated with homes made of character; with bay windows, exposed beam ceilings and arched doorways. My childhood consisted of re-designing my shoebox bedroom numerous times, touring model homes and devouring home improvement magazines! As a May 2009 graduate of Northern Arizona University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design, Marissa has an excellent knowledge of space planning, creative design processes, interior codes and regulations, interior lighting, business procedures, interior materials, architectural systems, CAD and client presentation techniques.
